The first thing that comes to mind is Pretty Women followed by Cat Woman and a dominatrix (Vivian Ward + Cat Woman = Dominatrix). Boots aside, what do all these women have in common? They’re Strong Bitches and also kind of slutty. But they OWN the fact that they are kind of slutty, and don’t take shit from anyone. Bottom line: Thigh highs are powerful AND sexy.

I can envision some practical use for the boots; they would be excellent for fly-fishing. Unfortunately, the flashy design of her dress would startle any striped bass and her almost exposed “unmentionables” would leave her susceptible to gangrene. Ted Williams, a man admired for his sternness, did not become an IGFA Fishing Hall of Famer by wearing bulky fur coats and short, leopard-patterned cocktail dresses.
